TikTok Ban in India: Google blocked the Tiktok from its Play Store following the Madras High Court directive. Now Apple has also blocked it from its App Store. The company requested to remove the bane from the TikTok app.
Now Apple blocked Tiktok from its App Store
The Madras High Court had told the Center on April 3 that they banned TikTok. The main charge on TikTok has been that this app is serving adult content. It has a bad effect on children. A person filed a petition in this regard.
For this, the center sent a letter to Apple and Google. Wherein it was said that they should obey the order of the High Court. This letter was asked to place bane on TikTok. After this order, Google has now banned TikTok from its Play Store.
Google says that he does not want to comment on this app. But Google is banning this app as per the order of the court.
What is TikTok
TikTok comes under the ownership of China’s Bytedance Company. In this, you can create videos, songs, dialogues or comedy scenes. This app has become quite popular in India. According to a report in February, 240 million people have downloaded this app in India so far.
Some time ago the company closed the account of some users. Some TikTok users claimed that their account has been closed. At the same time, some users have said that some of their videos have been deleted.

TikTok has said that this decision has been taken under the FTC settlement agreement. This means that if children below 13 years of age make an account on TikTok, then their parents will have to give permission for it. This policy has been implemented in the US now, but it can be implemented in India soon.
